Fifty Thousand Dollar
Sale on eBay

Lorenzo Carcassi Violin C1776

Shirley and Jack Weiss did not have a computer, so Mort Mazor, director of public relations for the Boca Raton Computer Society, recommended Pamela to help them sell their family's Lorenzo Carcassi Violin on eBay's Online Auction.

After weeks of research and planning, Pamela designed a webpage  and posted the Weiss family's Violin on eBay's Online Auction.  She answered e-mails and phone calls from potential buyers, of  which there were many from around the world.

The bidding started at $20,000 and the violin was eventually purchased for $50,000 after the ten day auction ended. The purchaser traveled from New York,  to receive the violin and meet Shirley and Jack for the first time.

Ernest and Pamela enjoyed a "mini concert" played by the purchaser on his newly acquired Lorenzo Carcassi Violin while Mr & Mrs. Weiss looked on with pleasure, knowing  that their beloved instrument was in good hands.
Shirley wrote
these comments after the completion of the sale.
